Laura I. Lynas-Gray
Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor | B.Sci (Hons), PGDip (equiv), MA (Distinction), MBACP reg, UKCP reg. 


Laura has experience working with adults from a multiplicity of backgrounds with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity. She works relationally with individuals in order to understand their current difficulties and patterns.  Laura responds to the individual with particular attention to their affects (emotions), behaviour, cognition, and physiological levels of functioning, including any spiritual beliefs. Experience includes working alongside the Health and Care System with a progressive charity based in North London. Laura also led a neurodiversity research pilot across NHS Trusts. Previous experience includes fifteen years' working within the cultural industry and branches of business management. Laura believes that all her past experiences have helped her become more attuned to various challenges and difficulties in life and in the understanding of clients from a variety of backgrounds.  Coming from an international background and an upbringing throughout her formative years living in Far East Asia,  Laura has a lived understanding of certain cultural sensitivities. 


Trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, Laura works together with her clients to identify the roots and connections between behaviors, unconscious thoughts, feelings, emotions and physiological response towards a compassionate and self-fulfilling life. Her approach is flexible to the individual needs of her clients.

Laura holds an enhanced DBS certificate and like all BACP and UKCP members, she receives regular supervision with an experienced and qualified UKCP supervisor. 

Private practice

In person sessions are held in Shoreditch, the practice is located minutes from Liverpool Street and Old Street stations at Therapy Space East. Sessions can be offered online, in-person or a hybrid of both.
